Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our forward-thinking engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components across a variety of projects. Your expertise will drive the development of cutting-edge solutions, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.

Job Duties Design and Development: Create and refine mechanical components and processes using CAD software.

Develop prototypes and oversee testing to validate design functionality and performance. Ensure components meet customer specifications. Analysis and Problem-Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement, to support project objectives. Communicate technical findings and project updates to stakeholders.

Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Manufacturing Support: Assist in the transition of components to production. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to resolve production challenges. Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Compliance and Documentation: Maintain accurate engineering documentation, including technical drawings, processes, and specifications.

Ensure designs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations. Ensure compliance with Rand’s AS9100 Quality Management System Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field Preferred. Experience in Defense related Manufacturing is a plus. Experience with CNC machining is a plus.

Prior Management Experience is a plus. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Solid. Works, AutoCAD, or Creo). Strong analytical skills. Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Strong communication and project management skills.
