MRI/CT Technologist- Radiology

JCMG’s Radiology department is looking for an experienced MRI/CT Tech. This is a PRN position to assist within the department as needed. Candidate must be flexible in their responsibilities and be willing to work in a fast-paced, department. Successful candidate must be certified in either MR and/or CT, and registered with the ARRT.

Competitive salary based on experience. No on-call and no weekend hours. Job Specific Competencies: Performs Computed Tomography (CT) imaging procedures and/or MRI procedures as indicated in the procedure manual. Performs other related imaging procedures producing images for interpretation by a physician. Demonstrates knowledge and ability to assist with checking patient into the Radiology Department for testing.

Maintains a safe environment. Graduate of the committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) accredited radiography program, JCERT accredited or other national accreditation agencies acceptable to the ARRT Certification/License: AART certification in MR or OJT training to become registered with the ARRT Registered Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist or OJT training Must become registered with the ARRT within 1 year of training start date Maintains credentials in good standing BLS required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology in order to perform MR and/or CT testing Knowledge of imaging equipment Good verbal skills Basic computer skills Ability to use computerized information systems Skill in establishing and maintaining good working relationships WORK ENVIRONMENT Work is normally performed in an interior/office or workshop environment.
