Job description: Phlebotomist Place of Performance: Silverdale, WA A-Team Solutions is seeking (1) Full-time Phlebotomist for the VA clinic in Silverdale, WA. This would be day shifts Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm. Job Duties: Perform venipuncture procedures on outpatient veterans. -Accession and process laboratory specimens in accordance with VA and College of American Pathologists regulations.

• Greet and log specimen orders in for outpatient veterans.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Completed a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) certified phlebotomy training program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in phlebotomy in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
• Experience with accessioning of laboratory specimens
• Experience with processing of laboratory specimens
• Capable of reading standard operating procedures and adhering them to the current laboratory processes.
• Communicate clearly the daily status and problems about the laboratory output to team members and senior management of the service.
• Computer literate.
• Phlebotomy Technician (PBT), American Society of Clinical Pathology, or eligibility pending within 3 months of start date.
