Radiologic Technologist PRN

Inova Northern Virginia Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a skilled and motivated Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to support intraoperative imaging in a fast-paced, team-oriented surgical environment. This is a unique opportunity to expand your skillset beyond traditional radiology and become an integral part of the operating room team.

You’ll work alongside experienced surgeons, nurses, and surgical technologists in a collaborative setting where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Provide real-time imaging support during surgical procedures using C-arm and mini C-arm equipment Monitor and uphold radiation safety standards for patients, physicians, and staff Ensure compliance with equipment inspections, dosimeter monitoring, and regulatory requirements Maintain proficiency with C-arm, and mini C-arm equipment Inspect and maintain protective equipment including lead aprons and shields Collaborate closely with surgeons and OR staff to ensure optimal imaging and workflow Identify opportunities to improve processes, equipment, and patient care Support overall OR efficiency by assisting with additional perioperative duties as assigned Maintains all records for inspections and radiation monitoring REQUIREMENTS: Completion of an appropriate radiographic technician program.

Certification preferred. Virginia Radio logic Technologist license required. ARRT certification preferred Current BLS certification Experience with C-arm imaging preferred; OR experience is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a surgical team BENEFITS:
