Your responsibilities

Perform nursing assessments and monitor patients' conditions. Administer medications and treatments within your scope of practice. Provide routine nursing care, sick call, and chronic care services. Recognize changes in patient conditions and communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider. Respond appropriately to urgent and emergent medical needs.

Educate patients and support their ongoing healthcare needs. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and correctional staff to support quality patient care. Follow established clinical guidelines, SHP policies, and applicable standards of practice. Help maintain a safe, secure, and professional healthcare environment.

Qualifications

📋 What We're Looking For Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Current CPR certification. Previous nursing experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Effective communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with a healthcare team.
