Below is a listing of the primary job responsibilities: Hires, trains, schedules, and evaluates part-time recreation center staff; supervises the day-to-day work of part-time staff, including lifeguards and summer camp staff. Investigates and resolves citizen complaints; responds to inquiries; provides program information to interested patrons.

Coordinates the maintenance of the facility and program equipment which may include operational pool equipment. Registers patrons for recreation programs, classes, and memberships; collects registration fees and payments for merchandise sales. Participates in the preparation of the annual budget; monitors expenditures and revenues.

We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and dedicated individual to lead and supervise the Adapted Recreation program. This position plays a vital role in the success of our programs and services, overseeing part-time staff, recreational programs, special events, and summer camp operations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills, work collaboratively as part of a team, and bring creativity, fresh ideas, and enthusiasm to the workplace.

Most importantly, this individual will help foster an inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment where participants of all abilities feel safe, valued, and a true sense of belonging. The successful candidate must have knowledge and understanding of the behaviors and needs of individuals with disabilities and be comfortable transporting participants to off-site activities and venues in a 15-passenger van.
