Box Truck Drive

Pay Range

$15.00 – $22.00/hour Actual compensation within the range will depend on a variety of factors including the individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws. Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM Duties and Responsibilities Check and inspect the delivery vehicle and material handling equipment to ensure they are in safe working condition.

Verify jobs are ready for pickup and delivery to designated locations. Shrink wrap jobs in a pallet for safe loading and handling. Load, unload, and move jobs, pallets, and materials throughout the facility using a forklift, manual pallet jack, or electric pallet jack as needed. Safely move and handle pallets and materials using the appropriate equipment.

Report any and all workplace hazards to management immediately. Ensure all equipment, tools, and work station are in good working order and is free of any safety hazards. Must be available for any required overtime based on business needs. Will be responsible for inventory in the assigned area. Pick up and deliver jobs, supplies, and materials between buildings and other destinations.

Maintain normal supply level in department. Qualification Minimum of 2 years of experience driving air brake box trucks Minimum of 2 years of experience loading, unloading, and handling materials. Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts. Valid Texas driver's license. Good driving record. Valid Texas driver's license.
