Accounts Payable Specialist

Tempus is looking for a hardworking, ambitious Accounts Payable Specialist to support its growing operations in Chicago. Reporting to the AP Manager, this role will oversee the accounts payable process.

What you'll do

Sort, code and match invoices Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries Assist with month-end closing (Duplicate invoices, overbilled PO's, verifying service periods for a subsection of vendor types, etc.)

Provide supporting documentation for audits (when needed) Track Credits and resolve any associated issues Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and at least 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a rapidly-growing company Highly analytical and detail-oriented Results-oriented, highly energetic, dynamic individual with hands-on mentality #LI-DA1 CHI: $50,000-$72,000 The expected salary range may vary for other locations.
