Job description
Recovery Advocates help patients put into practice the education, therapy and fellowship that they learn during the course of treatment by enabling them to begin the transition from clinical management of their chronic disease to more self-management of their chronic disease. Recovery Advocates help patients learn how to utilize 12-step based and other self-help recovery modalities in the self-management of the disease, implementing the tools learned through the treatment process and helping patient put into daily practice the modalities and treatment insights they are experiencing and learning throughout the day in a trauma-informed resilience-oriented treatment environment.
