Temp - Technologist - Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray

X-RAY TECHNOLOGIST / MAMMOGRAPHY Schedule: Monday–Friday. 7:30 AM–2:00 PM. 30 guaranteed hours per week. 8 hours of non-billable orientation. Must be willing to take call. Holiday and overtime policies apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform diagnostic radiology and mammography procedures with appropriate technical judgment. Provide quality patient care while following departmental policies and safety standards. Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, PACS, HIS, and RIS systems. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection control and OSHA standards.

Maintain required competencies and continuing education for radiology and mammography. Assist with staff instruction or supervision when assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience, including at least 1 year of recent experience. Active ARRT (R) certification required. Active Massachusetts radiology license or proof of application required. Active BLS certification through AHA or ARC. Meditech Expanse experience strongly preferred. Must have reliable personal transportation.

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility. Must be available for call. Maximum 5 days of requested time off; all RTO must be disclosed at submission. Must be available to work two holiday periods if scheduled: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's holiday blocks. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Complete work history.

Current X-Ray Technologist skills checklist (within the past year). One signed supervisory reference from the past two years. Active ARRT certification. Active BLS certification. Active Massachusetts radiology license. Permanent address and all RTO requests must be included in the profile at submission.
