The qualified candidate needs to have strong administrative organization and task management skills. You will manage day-to-day accounting responsibilities. This is an office-based position, with remote work allowed infrequently, approved on a situational basis.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Manage all day-to-day accounting operations (AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations) Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting Oversee payroll and ensure compliance with tax regulations Coordinate with CPA for year-end reporting and tax filings Ensure accuracy and organization of all financial record Daily Tasks Record all income and expenses Categorize transactions correctly Monitor bank activity for errors or fraud Respond to urgent financial questions Weekly Tasks Reconcile bank accounts Reconcile credit card accounts Review accounts receivable Review accounts payable Deposit checks / confirm incoming payments Monthly Tasks Close the books for the month Reconcile all accounts (bank, credit cards, loans) Review profit & loss statement Review balance sheet Track budget vs.

Qualifications

5+ years of accounting experience Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks) Strong leadership and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines High level of integrity and confidentiality Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field Experience in small business or multi-entity environments Experience supervising or managing staff What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the accounting functions.
