Material Handler

Description Hotstart, Inc. has an opening for a Material Handler to support the Receiving Lead, Receiving, and Production in our Spokane facility. This position is responsible for assisting with the control and management of inventory. Material Handler delivers materials to dedicated lines to ensure the continuation of production.

This position also assists Receiving when needed and helps to stock on hand materials in their dedicated locations.

Requirements

Water Strider

• Perform Water Strider function to support KanBan/material delivery on production lines.
• Rejecting damaged items, recording shortages, and notifying the Receiving Lead of issues. Inventory Clerk
• Accurately and efficiently organize and maintain warehouse locations (including locations in Production areas).
• Distribution of received materials and materials from QA to the proper locations.
• Gather obsolete/inactive parts from inventory for disposition.
• Assist Receiving Department as needed.
• Assist and complete cycle counts.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong and courteous communication skills. Organizational skills an asset. Promptness and reliability expected. Must be self-motivated. Understand warehouse flow. Attention to detail a must. Able to lift 50 lbs. Inventory Management experience preferred. Knowledge and use of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement concepts.
