Dental Assistant

Pay: $18.41 per hour Schedule: Full-time, Monday

Essential functions

Assist the dentist in performing services by preparing patients in chair and handling required instruments, equipment, and dental plastics. Sterilize instruments and keep the office stocked with required supplies. Arrange and maintain appointment schedule. Keep records of patients. Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records; observe applicable HIPPA rules.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent Six (6) months clinical dental assistant experience, current certification, or registration as a dental assistant in the state of New Mexico or compact state, and current certification in dental radiological procedures. Must possess current CPR certification. 30 hours of continuing education are required during each triennial renewal cycle.

Valid driver’s license in the state of New Mexico or Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management. Why: Make a real difference every day by helping to change lives.
