The Alice Center in Malone, NY, is looking for a dedicated Per Diem LPN to join our exceptional team. Per Diem Staff Requirements Shift Minimums : Work at least two (2) 8-hour shifts per pay period, including two (2) weekend shifts per month (16 hours total per pay period). Weekend hours are defined as Friday 10 p.m. through Monday 6 a.m. Holiday Coverage : Work at least one (1) 8-hour shift per year on a minor holiday (Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day) and one (1) on a major holiday (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s).

Education

& Certifications : Maintain mandatory education requirements and a current BLS certification. Call-Out Make-Up Policy : If a per diem staff member calls out on a weekend, the shift must be made up within one month.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality care to residents during evening hours and weekends. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), administer medications, and monitor health. Ensure a safe, comfortable, and dignified environment for all residents. Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Requirements

Current LPN license in New York State. Compassionate, reliable, and team-oriented attitude. Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required. This is a bargaining union position.
