Posting Title: Medical Onco Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹400000 to 500000 LPM Work Experience: 3 years Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic imaging and laboratory results.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with solid tumors and hematologic malignancies.
- Administer and monitor systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy, ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and palliative care specialists.
- Provide ongoing clinical follow-up, assess treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in tumor board meetings to contribute to case discussions and treatment recommendations.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records and ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory documentation standards.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attend medical conferences, and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
- Mentor junior medical staff, residents, and fellows in oncology best practices and clinical decision-making.
- Promote patient education and shared decision-making, ensuring informed consent and emotional support throughout the treatment process. Requirements:
- MBBS degree with MD/DM in Oncology or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology.
- Valid medical license and registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or cancer care setting.
- Proven experience in managing a diverse caseload of cancer patients, including advanced-stage disease.
- Strong knowledge of current oncology guidelines (e.g., NCCN, ESMO, Indian Council of Medical Research).
- Proficiency in interpreting tumor markers, imaging studies, and pathology reports.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced clinical environments.
- Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and continuous learning.
- Experience in clinical trial participation or research is highly desirable.
