Floater VA Caregiver - Limited Full-Time

Floater VA Caregiver | Limited Full-Time (30-35 hours a week) | Madison, TN

All Heart Home Careis seeking compassionate and dependableFloater VA Caregiversto join our team serving clients throughoutMadison, TN and surrounding communities within a 50-mile radius, including Goodlettsville and North Nashville.

This is a Limited Full-Timeposition for caregivers who are flexible, reliable, and comfortable traveling between multiple client homes throughout the day. Caregivers can expect to work6-12 hour shifts, providing one-on-one, non-medical care and support while ensuring continuity of care across assigned cases.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour Mileage Reimbursement Provided

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Provide mobility assistance, including transfers and ambulation support

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping

• Provide medication reminders in accordance with company policies and state regulations

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients

• Observe and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or appropriate team member

• Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided

• Travel between multiple client homes as assigned throughout the day

• Adapt to varying client needs and care plans while maintaining a high standard of care

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused approach to care

• Ability to work independently and follow individualized care plans

• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance

• Ability and willingness to travel between client locations within a 50-mile service area

• Must be available to work weekdays, including daytime and evening hours

• Must pass all required pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screening
