Business Analyst

At Blue. Cross Blue. In this role, you'll collaborate with cross-functional partners across Product, Operations, Clinical, Technology, Finance, and vendor organizations to identify opportunities, define business requirements, and help bring strategic initiatives from concept to implementation. You'll work alongside leaders and subject matter experts across the organization, using data, business insights, and industry knowledge to evaluate opportunities, influence decisions, drive innovation and continuous improvement, and support product enhancements that deliver measurable value to the business.

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare, health insurance, product strategy, or related business experience. Experience with SQL, Google Big. Query, or similar data analysis tools. Experience supporting cross-functional strategic initiatives from discovery through implementation. Note: This is a remote, work-from-home position, but the final round of interviews will take place on-site in our Chattanooga, TN HQ.

Occasional travel to BCBST locations, including Chattanooga, Tennessee, may be required. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Job Responsibilities

Design, development, assessment, and implementation of organizational management projects, policies, and/or procedures. Identifying business process improvement projects for internal business groups, and making recommendations to management on efficiencies. Conducting cost/benefit evaluations on various external and internal resources.

Analyzing business requirements and production specifications to improve the effectiveness of the organization's management operations. Job Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required.
