Assistant Housekeeping Manager: Brand New Opening (Village Hotel Sheffield) 37.5hrs pw There is nothing quite like the buzz of opening a brand new hotel. Everything is immaculate, fresh, and completely untouched. We are opening Village Hotel Sheffield, and we need a phenomenal Assistant Housekeeping Manager who loves being on the floor and leading from the front to set the absolute standard from day zero.

Just to be crystal clear on timelines: we are moving fast. Interviews are happening week commencing 16th November. You will officially start with us in January , well before the doors open, giving you the time to get the department commercially ready alongside the Housekeeping Manager before the first guest checks in.

Your Remit: How You Will Run It You will not be sitting in a back office doing paperwork. This is a highly operational, hands on leadership role. To make this opening a massive success, here is exactly how you will need to sequence your focus: First: Own the Floor. You are the pace setter. You will be out in the corridors and rooms, conducting rigorous inspections, monitoring standards in real time, and driving a 'right first time' culture.

If there is a gap during peak service, you roll your sleeves up and get it done alongside the team. Second: The Commercial Hustle. You will actively monitor productivity and minutes per room. You will control the linen usage, manage stock pars, and ensure we hit our payroll benchmarks without ever compromising on absolute quality.

Third: Coaching in the Moment. You are helping to build a new team from scratch. You will provide hands on coaching, immediate feedback, and active support to your Team Leaders and Room Attendants so everyone knows exactly what a top tier Village standard looks like. Why Village?
