Job description

Key Responsibilities

Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, work plans, and resource allocation throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and project teams to ensure successful project execution.

Oversee project financials, including budgets, cost tracking, pay applications, change orders, cash flow, and subcontractor invoices. Review project documents, contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and identify potential risks or issues. Lead project communication with owners, architects, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

Monitor project progress and proactively address schedule, budget, quality, and operational challenges. Manage subcontractor buyouts, procurement activities, contract administration, and project documentation. Ensure compliance with company safety standards, project requirements, and regulatory obligations. Oversee project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, final documentation, and client turnover.

Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience in construction estimating or a related commercial construction role. Experience preparing estimates for commercial construction projects valued at $5 million or more. Ability to read, interpret, and analyze construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and other construction-related technology tools.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
