Waterborne Security EMT - B

Description This position is currently filled, however we are accepting applications for Ready Replacement Pool consideration. Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support Center for Security Forces (CENSECFOR) as an Emergency Medical Technician

• Basic (EMT-B) at Learning Site Little Creek, in Virginia Beach, VA. The EMT shall be an Instructor / Administrative assistant to the Site Lead, and will provide emergency medical support during all high-risk training evolutions. They will also keep all contractors current with CPR/AED qualifications when not being used for training evolutions. Travel may be required.

Requirements

The Emergency Medical Technician must have the following qualifications: NREMT or State of Virginia Certified as an Emergency Medical Technician

• Basic, or higher Certified to instruct CPR/AED Second-Class Swimmer qualified per NETC P1552/16 standards ( must demonstrate water survival proficiency through a deep-water jump, a 100-yard swim, a 5-minute prone float, and shirt/trouser inflation for buoyancy ) Desired: ARC certified Lifeguard Military Rescue Swimmer Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance If you meet these qualifications and are ready to make an impact, we encourage you to apply today!
