Director of Group Sales & Community Partnerships Urban Air Adventure Park — Huntington Beach, CA Full-Time | Day Shift | Base Salary + Uncapped Incentive Compensation Build the Market. Own the Relationships. Drive the Revenue. Urban Air Huntington Beach is looking for a proven sales hunter and relationship builder to develop our group, event and community business throughout Huntington Beach and the broader Orange County market.

This is not an inbound sales position. We want someone who knows how to build a territory, open doors, develop relationships and turn those relationships into recurring revenue. The ideal candidate may come from hotel group sales, convention or meeting sales, hospitality, attractions, tourism, entertainment, sports, events or another relationship-driven sales environment.

Your Market You will build relationships and generate business from: Schools and school districts Camps and youth organizations Corporations and local businesses Churches and religious organizations Nonprofits and charitable organizations Military organizations Associations Sports leagues and teams Hotels and tourism partners Community organizations Other organizations looking for group outings, celebrations, fundraisers, meetings and team-building events What You'll Do You'll own the group-sales pipeline from prospecting through close.

That means getting into the market, identifying decision-makers, making calls, scheduling meetings, conducting site tours, attending networking and community events, developing referral sources, creating proposals, closing events and building relationships that produce repeat business year after year. You'll work closely with park leadership and operations to make sure the experience we sell is delivered exceptionally well.

Who We're Looking For You have a track record in outside sales, group sales, meetings/events, hospitality or business development and you're comfortable creating opportunities rather than waiting for leads. Knowledge of Huntington Beach and Orange County is strongly preferred. An existing network among local businesses, hotels, schools, community organizations, tourism partners or other group buyers is a significant advantage.

You're competitive, polished, organized and persistent. You enjoy meeting people, being in the market and closing business. Most importantly: You don't wait for the market to come to you. You go get it. Schedule Day shift 8 hour shift Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Typical hours are daytime and early afternoon, aligned with when schools, businesses and community organizations are open.

Occasional networking or community events may fall outside standard hours.

Compensation

We intend to offer a competitive base salary plus meaningful, uncapped performance-based compensation tied directly to group and event revenue. For a successful producer, we expect this to be a six-figure compensation opportunity, with additional upside for exceptional performance. The Opportunity This isn't a position where you're inheriting somebody else's territory.

You'll have the opportunity to build the group-sales business for a new Urban Air location from the ground up, establishing the relationships, creating the pipeline and helping make Urban Air Huntington Beach one of Orange County's go-to destinations for group events.
