Tabor Hills Senior Living offers an Independent Living Community, Supportive Living Community, and a Healthcare Facility. We have a great opportunity for a Part Time Dining Services Aide to join our team on our supportive living campus. STARTING RATE IS $15.25 PER HOUR ILLINOIS PAID LEAVE FOR ALL Job Functions/Responsibilities: Wash hands and report on time prepared to work in appropriate uniform, hairnet/hat, and name tag. Fill Water Decanters and ensure water and water glasses are on tables and creamers, sugars, condiments, salt/peppers are filled. Serve in the dining room, assisting with coffee service, taking orders, service of food and assist cook on the serving line, as needed. Prepare and portion food items such as desserts, salads, and all beverages. Assemble trays according to resident specific diets and preference• Assist in prep cooking, putting away food inventory. Operate, clean, and maintain all kitchen equipment including documentation of dish machine temperature. Follow proper tray line and meal service procedure and in compliance with all safety and sanitation procedures. Serve all residents their meals. Serve ice water, coffee, rolls, and butter to the residents. Stock/restock and maintain cabinets and serving areas with adequate supply condiments, clean linens, silverware, glassware, dishes, and trays. Re-set dining room tables with placemats, napkins, and silverware. Clean, sanitize and set/reset all tables/chairs. Fill beverage and ice dispensers. Vacuum dining room carpet. Empty trash and take out all garbage including boxes. Clean up spilled food, drink and broken dishes; remove empty bottles and trash. Pick up mats, sweep and mop kitchen and dry storage Wash cleaning cloths and towels and bring to Dining Room Assist Cook and other Dining Services Aides as needed.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent. 2. EXPERIENCE: Preferred. 3. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting up to50 pounds by self with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects. Exerting considerable force frequently and/or intermediate force constantly to move objects and residents. Reaching, handling, talking, hearing, and visual near acuity. 4. TRAVEL: May travel within campus. 5. WORKING CONDITIONS: Considerable exposure to disagreeable conditions, including odors, infection, and illness. 6. PRINCIPAL CONTACTS: Works with elderly residents, families, and other health care members. 7. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK, including, but not limited to: a.
