Position Overview

As a Clinical Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care, managing communication, and supporting our healthcare providers. Your dedication will directly impact patient satisfaction and efficient clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service aligned with Water’s Edge Mission, Credo, and Values. Schedule patient visits and coordinate referrals outside of the practice as needed. Communicate biopsy results in timely and accurately explain diagnoses and treatment plans. Verify insurance details, obtain authorizations, and ensure proper billing processes.

Follow up promptly on phone calls and messages. Log, track, and maintain up-to-date records of biopsy results in EMR. Document all communications thoroughly in EMR and follow through on necessary actions. Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalency required. 2-3 years of experience preferred. Strong typing and computer skills, proficient in EMR. Excellent communication, customer service, and patient care skills. Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Prior experience in medical communications or dermatology is a plus, but not mandatory.
