Asset Management Intern

Banca Generali is one of the leading private banks in Italy, operating at the forefront of financial planning and asset management. Within the Investment Center – Asset Management, the Gestioni Patrimoniali team develops advanced investment solutions for the Bank’s clients.

We are looking for a highly technical, hands‑on and curious profileto support the Asset Management team indata analysis, automation and reporting activities, with a strong focus onadvanced Excel usage and AI‑driven tools.

This internship is designed for candidates who enjoy working directly with data, models and tools, adopting a “tinkerer / power‑user” mindset rather than a purely theoretical approach.

The intern will be involved in operational and project‑based activities, including:

• Supporting the Asset Management team in portfolio and market data analysis
• Developing and maintaining advanced Excel models (complex formulas, Power Query, pivots, automation)
• Building advanced reporting tools for portfolio monitoring and performance analysis
• Automating recurring processes (reporting, database updates, data quality checks)
• Supporting the maintenance and update of funds and instruments databases
• Using generative AI tools to: analyze and synthesize data; summarize market information; support the generation of investment insights
• Collaborating on the development of internal, data‑driven tools to support investment decision‑making.
