Medical Assistant - Cancer Center

The Medical Assistant is responsible for rendering professional clinical assistance to patients within the Cancer Center in support of the provider(s), nurses, and other medical personnel. ##Works directly with the provider(s) as a liaison between the patient and the provider for establishing and maintaining quality patient care.

Educational and/or Professional Qualifications: Graduate of a Medical Assistant training Program preferred. Previous Experience 1.# Public interaction work desired. Other Special Training or Skills 1.# Receives on the job training for office specific tasks 2.# Knowledge of medical terminology. 3.# Ability to learn quickly from oral and written instructions.

4.# Typing skills required. 5.# Demonstrates good interpersonal skills.
