Position Summary

As an Overnight Direct Support Professional, you will provide overnight support and supervision to individuals in a residential setting. This role primarily involves being present and available during overnight hours while allowing for restful sleep, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overnight supervision and support to residents in a home environment. Ensure the safety and security of individuals during overnight hours. Respond promptly and appropriately to any emergencies or needs that arise during the night. Maintain a calm, respectful, and supportive environment consistent with the organization’s faith-based values.

Document any incidents, observations, or concerns as required by organizational policies. Collaborate with day staff and management to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in direct support or caregiving preferred. Ability to remain alert and responsive during overnight hours while resting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to the mission and values of a faith-based organization. Reliable, responsible, and compassionate. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
