Regional Dietary Manager

Legacy Health Services is seeking an experienced Regional Dietary Manager to support and oversee dietary operations across multiple skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. This leadership role partners with facility teams to ensure quality dining services, regulatory compliance, staff development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Support and oversee dietary operations across multiple facilities. Ensure compliance with CMS, State Survey, OSHA, and food safety regulations. Monitor resident satisfaction and implement service improvement initiatives. Conduct facility audits and corrective action plans. Assist facilities with staffing, recruitment, scheduling, and retention efforts.

Monitor food, labor, and supply costs while maintaining budget targets. Train, mentor, and develop Dietary Managers and culinary staff. Support survey preparation and assist facilities during regulatory surveys. Collaborate with Registered Dietitians and interdisciplinary care teams.

Qualifications

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) credential preferred. Minimum 3 years of dietary management experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or healthcare food service. Multi-site management experience preferred. Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, sanitation standards, and survey readiness. Proven leadership, coaching, and team development skills.

Experience managing budgets, labor, and food costs. Ability to travel regularly between assigned facilities. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Why Join Us?
