We’re delighted to have recently opened our brand-new Vets for Pets practice in Horsham and are looking for a passionate, friendly, and experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join our growing team. What Your Day Will Look Like: As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you’ll play an essential role in creating a welcoming and professional experience for every visitor.

Your responsibilities

Delivering exceptional client care while supporting the highest standards of patient care Acting as a key link between clients and the clinical team Building strong relationships with clients, their pets, and your colleagues Ensuring every client visit is welcoming, supportive, and professional Greeting clients warmly and providing clear, accurate information and guidance Managing payments and booking appointments confidently Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice using our online booking system Strong computer skills and excellent organisational abilities are essential.

Working Pattern: This is a full-time position working 40 hour per week. What We’re Looking For: We’re searching for someone who is compassionate, organised, and genuinely passionate about customer care and animal wellbeing. You will ideally have: A warm, friendly, and welcoming manner Excellent communication and customer service skills A calm, attentive, and compassionate approach The ability to provide accurate advice and guidance on our services Emotional resilience and sensitivity when supporting clients through difficult situations A positive, proactive attitude and strong team spirit Enthusiasm for creating a supportive and welcoming practice environment Most importantly, you’ll enjoy being busy, love helping people and their pets, and be motivated to make a positive difference every day.
