Director of In-Home ABA Services — Oakland County (BCBA)

Shelby Township, MIFull-timePosted Aug 20, 2026

Job description

Quality Care Rehab & Autism Center is looking for a BCBA Director who wants more than just a job — you want a place where your clinical judgment is respected, your leadership shapes a growing program, and the kids and families you work with genuinely benefit from your passion. We've been serving families in Macomb and Oakland County, both in-home and in-clinic, for over 24 years.

We're clinician-owned, which means the people making decisions actually know what it's like to be in your shoes. No corporate red tape. No one-size-fits-all mandates. No billable-hour targets that quietly decide your clinical calls for you. Just a collaborative team of 85+ therapists across ABA, OT, PT, and Speech, working together across our Shelby and Clinton Township locations and in homes throughout the region.

This role is focused on our Oakland County in-home ABA program — the setting where skills actually have to generalize, where caregivers are your partners, and where good clinical leadership makes the biggest difference. You'll lead and build out the in-home team while carrying your own caseload, so you stay connected to the clinical work you love.

You won't be dropped in the deep end. For up to your first 90 days, you'll train on-site with our established Macomb County team at our Clinton Township clinic — learning our systems, clinical standards, and people before you take the reins in Oakland County. Even after onboarding, this role includes ongoing on-site presence in Clinton Township for team meetings, collaboration, and clinic-based client needs.

Our newest Clinton Township facility was designed with both kids and clinicians in mind: private treatment rooms, sensory spaces, rock-climbing walls, and spacious therapy gyms. If you're an experienced BCBA ready to mentor a team, shape programs, and still do hands-on clinical work, we'd love to hear from you. Compensation, Benefits & Support Competitive Compensation

  • Total annual compensation ranging from 90,000-105,000
  • Annual compensation reviews and growth opportunities
  • Mileage reimbursement for in-home travel Sign-On Bonus
  • $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • $2,500 paid after successful completion of 90 days
  • $2,500 paid on your one-year anniversary Structured Onboarding & Training
  • Clinic-based training with our Macomb County team at our Clinton Township location for up to the first 90 days of hire
  • Hands-on mentorship from established BCBAs and multidisciplinary leadership before you take the lead in Oakland County
  • Ongoing on-site presence in Clinton Township is part of the role — for team meetings, collaboration, and clinic-based client needs Built-In Work-Life Balance
  • Structured caseload expectations that account for your leadership responsibilities
  • Realistic scheduling and territory planning so your day isn't spent in the car
  • Administrative support designed to reduce unnecessary burdens
  • Systems and processes that allow clinicians to focus on client care Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • Employer-sponsored Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, including prescription coverage and free-of-charge Teladoc options
  • 401(k) with 4% Employer Match and access to financial planning services
  • Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays

  • Health Savings Account
  • Employee Assistance & Wellness Programs
  • Employee Referral Program Continuing Education Support
  • Up to $2,000 annually for CEUs, conferences, certifications, and specialty training
  • Discounted tuition and CEUs through Capella University for employees and their immediate family members
  • Support toward BACB supervision and recertification requirements Multidisciplinary Collaboration
  • Work alongside Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Physical Therapists every day. Our integrated approach creates better outcomes for clients and a richer professional experience for clinicians — and in-home programming benefits enormously from having OT, PT, and Speech input on the same team. Clear Career Advancement
  • As Director, you'll help lead and grow the Oakland County in-home program — and we support continued advancement into roles such as Regional Clinical Director and Fieldwork Supervisor, along with opportunities to develop new programs and service lines.

What You'll Do

  • Carry a clinical caseload, conducting assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, FBAs) and developing individualized in-home treatment plans for pediatric clients
  • Lead, build, and grow the Oakland County in-home ABA program, including program development, territory planning, and hiring
  • Supervise, mentor, and support BCBAs, BCaBAs, RBTs, and behavior technicians working in the home setting
  • Oversee clinical quality, treatment plan review, documentation, and payer/authorization compliance for the in-home team
  • Support onboarding, training, and professional development of in-home staff — including competency checks and field observations
  • Partner with caregivers on parent training and skill generalization in the natural environment
  • Collaborate with OT, Speech, and PT providers to deliver integrated, multidisciplinary care
  • Provide BACB fieldwork supervision and encourage participation in program development and research projects What We're Looking For
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the State of Michigan, or eligible and willing to obtain
  • 3+ years of experience delivering ABA services to pediatric clients; in-home experience strongly preferred
  • Prior leadership, supervisory, or program-development experience preferred
  • Willingness to provide BACB fieldwork supervision
  • Availability for full-time hours, Monday–Friday
  • Availability to train on-site at our Clinton Township clinic for up to the first 90 days of hire, and to be on-site there regularly thereafter
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout Oakland County
