Parts Outside Sales - Eastern North Carolina

Our Raleigh branch is seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative covering the Eastern North Carolina territory to grow their parts and service sales.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned outside sales professional with experience in heavy duty truck and trailer parts, or a related industry. Responsibilities

Increase sales of aftermarket truck and trailer parts by maintaining/growing existing customer relationships while identifying and developing new accounts. Implementing marketing and sales programs promoting existing and new product lines. Maintenance of customer, vendor, and product information to support sales effort.

Effective utilization of company CRM programs. Attend trade shows and vendor events and training programs. Provide technical support to customers and work with vendors to solve customer problems. Delivery of “same day” parts orders during routine sales calls. Maintaining awareness of market conditions and customer needs while recognizing cross-selling opportunities.

Regular travel to customer locations and as needed to the branch. Adherence to Company safety programs.

Requirements

Must have 2+ years’ experience in sales of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts or service or related sales background. Must have strong sales skills and mechanical aptitude. Must be able to work independently and manage a territory. Must be committed to a high level of customer service and satisfaction. Must present a professional, positive, results oriented, problem-solving attitude.

Must have excellent communication and relationship building skills. Must have good computer skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Must pass a standard pre-employment drug test. No outside recruiting partner inquiries please!
