We are seeking a Freight Processor to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing freight accounts, calculating charges, and ensuring accurate processing of transportation-related information.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Process freight accounts and determine appropriate charges. Accurately enter and maintain information within company systems. Calculate freight rates, mileage, and applicable overflow charges. Utilize our client’s Corrections Calculator tools to ensure accurate billing. Review account information for completeness and accuracy.

Research and resolve discrepancies as needed. Maintain productivity and quality standards while meeting deadlines. Works to achieve and maintain an acceptable rate and quality to meet or exceed customer requirements. Hourly rates will apply after training is complete. Potential to assist in the training of employees to perform job.

Able to receive constructive feedback with an objective open mind. Willingness to be cross trained in other departments to meet company daily production commitments.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Ability to learn and utilize freight processing software and calculators. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Previous transportation, logistics, billing, or freight processing experience preferred but not required.
