EpicCare Ambulatory & MyChart Analyst

Epic. Care Ambulatory & My. Chart Analyst Location: Medellin, Colombia Work Mode: Work from Office (5 Days a Week) – No Work From Home / No Hybrid Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Epic. Care Ambulatory & My. Chart Analyst to join our healthcare IT team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, supporting, and optimising the Epic.

Care Ambulatory and My. Chart modules. The candidate will work closely with physicians, clinicians, patient engagement teams, and technical stakeholders to enhance outpatient clinical workflows and improve the digital patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

Configure, maintain, and support the Epic. Care Ambulatory and My. Chart applications. Gather, analyse, and document business and clinical requirements from ambulatory care and patient engagement stakeholders. Design, build, test, validate, and deploy system enhancements and new functionality. Support outpatient clinical workflows, provider documentation, patient scheduling, secure messaging, online appointment scheduling, patient portal access, and patient self-service features.

Configure and support My. Chart functionality, including patient registration, appointment management, e. Check-In, messaging, results review, medication refill requests, and patient communications. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely application support. Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, optimisation initiatives, and enhancement projects.

Execute unit testing, integrated testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Develop and maintain build documentation, workflow diagrams, technical specifications, and user documentation. Collaborate with other Epic application analysts to ensure seamless integration with Cadence, Prelude, Patient Access, Resolute, and other Epic modules.

Ensure all configurations comply with Epic best practices, healthcare regulations, and organisational standards.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience with Epic. Care Ambulatory and My. Chart . Epic. Care Ambulatory and/or My. Chart Certification is mandatory. Experience in Epic build, configuration, implementation, testing, and production support. Strong understanding of outpatient clinical workflows, patient engagement solutions, and patient portal functionality.

Experience supporting integrated Epic clinical applications. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Mandatory Requirements Epic. Care Ambulatory and/or My.

Chart Certification (Mandatory) Minimum 3 years of relevant Epic. Care Ambulatory/My. Chart experience Excellent communication skills. Must work from the Medellin, Colombia office (5 days per week) . Strictly Work From Office – No Work From Home or Hybrid. Candidates who can join immediately or are currently serving a 15–20 day notice period will be given preference.

Preferred Skills

Experience in U.S. healthcare environments. Strong knowledge of outpatient clinical workflows, patient engagement, and digital healthcare solutions. Experience integrating Epic. Care Ambulatory and My. Chart with Cadence, Prelude, Patient Access, Orders, and other Epic applications. Understanding of Epic implementation methodology and healthcare interoperability.

Familiarity with My. Chart features such as e. Check-In, telehealth, online scheduling, secure messaging, patient questionnaires, and patient education. Strong documentation, stakeholder management, and communication skills
