On behalf of our client, a leading company in the Security Industry, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to work in Nairobi, Kenya .

Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily security operations, supervising security personnel, and ensuring the safety and protection of clients' assets and premises. The role requires strong leadership, operational discipline, and the ability to step in for the Operations Manager when needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising security operations across assigned posts. Prepare and review duty rosters to ensure full coverage of shifts. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to verify guard performance and compliance with post orders and SOPs.

Document and report incidents accurately and promptly and follow up on corrective actions. Conduct security briefings and train guards on protocols, emergency responses , and customer service. Respond to client inquiries, complaints, and service issues, escalating complex matters to the Operations Manager. Address operational issues as they arise and maintain accurate operational records.

Deputize the Operations Manager in their absence.

Requirements

Diploma/Degree in Criminology, Security Management, or a related field. At least 3–5 years of experience in security operations, with 1–2 years in a supervisory role. Strong leadership and decision-making skills . Excellent observational and analytical abilities. Clear communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
