As a Host/Hostess at Rita’s on the River, you’ll be the welcoming face of the restaurant—greeting guests with warmth, managing the flow of seating, and helping create a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment guests arrive.

Your role

is key to setting the tone for exceptional service on San Antonio’s iconic River Walk.

Responsibilities

Greet all guests with a friendly and upbeat attitude Manage walk-ins through the waitlist system Seat guests efficiently and evenly throughout the restaurant Answer guest questions and provide accurate wait times Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance Assist with menu handouts and support other FOH staff as needed Communicate effectively with servers, bussers, and managers Provide outstanding customer service throughout every shift Requirements: Friendly and professional demeanor Strong communication and people skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Must be punctual and reliable Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and during major downtown events Previous hosting experience is a plus, but not required Compensation & Benefits: $12-14 per hour Access to wellness benefit options Growth opportunities within the Rita’s team Fun, fast-paced work environment right on the River Walk!
