Responsibilities
Ensure vessels meet local and international maritime requirements and industry standards by managing vetting inspections conducted by oil majors. Communicate with oil majors to ensure vessel acceptance and address any vetting issues. Perform pre-vetting inspections and collaborate with the technical team to resolve any identified issues.
Ensure vessels adhere to Stellar policies and procedures and provide operational support to Masters and Navigational Officers. Drive safety programs, including near-miss reporting, incident investigations, and quality improvements. Analyze accidents and incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Be a member of the Stellar Emergency Response Team and respond to emergencies as required. Ensure timely completion of internal audits, ISPS audits, Marine Ship Inspections, and Superintendent Navigation audits. Implement policies, assist with training, and maintain industry relationships by attending forums and seminars.
Coordinate provisions, fresh water, and logistics for the fleet, raise work orders for inspections, and ensure follow-up on inspection findings.
Requirements
