Artisan Assistant (Fitter)

In this role you will be responsible for:

Adhering to good safe work procedures and PPE requirements

Ensuring good safety performance

Report any safety related issues to the relevant authority.

Ensuring achievement of sustainable production targets through executing delegated tasks.

Assisting with installations, repairs and maintenance of equipment, according to standards.

Assisting with conducted daily maintenance tasks (scheduled and unscheduled).

Identifying faults and report to Artisan.

Ensuring general housekeeping is in order.

About you

Grade 10

A minimum of one (1) year mining working experience.

Medically fit to work on surface and heights

Valid driver’s license and own transport

Good knowledge and understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act and relevant legislation
