Perinatal Sonographer

GENERAL SUMMARY: A busy Maternal Fetal Medicine private practice is seeking a full-time Perinatal Sonographer in the Metro Atlanta area. The Perinatal Sonographer will perform outpatient perinatal diagnostic medical sonograms under the directions of a Perinatologist. This candidate will perform professional duties involved in a variety of diagnostic images in a high-risk obstetrical ultrasound outpatient medical practice.

This candidate is responsible for the independent operation of sonography equipment, and for performing and communicating results of diagnostic examinations using sonography and reporting through an EMR and PACs system. This candidate is responsible for adhering to departmental standards and expectations regarding patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the reporting of equipment failure, and quality assurance.

This candidate is required to always maintain a high standard of medical ethics and is self-motivated to increase her/his level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. (We have multiple offices: Decatur, Conyers, Stockbridge, Riverdale, Newnan, Peachtree Mid-Town, Columbus) Candidate must possess the following: Computer literate
