• Friday Westland House, Belfast Parking facilities on site Temporary role for 3 months (until December 2026) Please note closing date for this vacancy is 12 noon on 7th November 2025 - however you can register your interest for other upcoming vacancies by applying today What you'll be doing in this role: Collecting of all types of samples from industrial premises throughout Northern Ireland and the delivery of samples to either specified collection points and/or the analytical laboratory. Support compliance investigations, cost recovery, and environmental protection through additional sampling, recording of observations and sample point anomalies.

What you'll need

A minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade C or above, to include English and Maths, or equivalent. A minimum of 6 months of experience in dealing with customers face-to-face in a positive manner. Demonstrable experience in managing own workload, with the ability to plan and prioritise. A full current driving license enabling the post holder to drive in Northern Ireland as they will be required to drive a Northern Ireland Water vehicle.

Medically fit to undertake manual handling duties associated with role e.g. lifting of sampling apparatus and manhole covers in excess of 12kg. Successful candidates will be required to attend a pre-employment medical appointment. As part of the reference checking and vetting process for this position you will be requested to undertake a Basic AccessNI Disclosure.
