Account Associate - State Farm Agent Team Member

ABOUT OUR AGENCY: I opened my agency in 2014 and currently lead a team of six. Before becoming a State Farm agent, I spent more than 30 years in the insurance industry, with experience in both claims and marketing. I'm a proud grandfather of four and enjoy hiking, adventure travel, and exploring our national parks. I've completed the Camino de Santiago in Portugal, hiked St.

Patrick's Way in Ireland, and visited 22 U.S. National Parks. Serving others is at the heart of our agency. I lead a mentoring program and ministry group, support local schools and youth initiatives, and encourage my team to stay involved in the community. I'm also a member of the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce and have been honored as a La Porte ISD Distinguished Alumni, Past Rotarian of the Year, and La Porte-Bayshore Volunteer of the Year.

ROLE DESCRIPTION: As an Account Associate for {{ account.name }}, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success.

You help grow our office through meaningful customer relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage customer accounts and update information in the database.
• Assist customers with policy changes and inquiries.
• Process insurance claims and follow up with customers on claim status.
• Coordinate with underwriters to ensure timely policy issuance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Previous experience in insurance or a related field preferred.
