Human Resources Coordinator

Maine Family Planning is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for 30 hours a week. This position is based out of the Augusta office with flexibility for hybrid remote work. This is a new position due to organizational growth. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment. This role partners with directors/ managers to attract, recruit, onboard, and retain qualified employees while ensuring compliance with employment laws and organizational policies.

This position will also assist employees with leave requests administered by a third party and other key human resources functions as needed. Occasional travel required.

Qualifications

Experience and Skill Requirements: The following experience and skills are considered essential: 2-3 years of human resources experience HRIS skills Ability to organize work and prioritize to meet deadlines Demonstrated strong oral, written, analytical and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Healthcare or nonprofit experience preferred.

Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality Education and Knowledge Requirements: The following education requirements are considered essential: Associate’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
