This role will take ownership of key financial planning activities, including budgeting, rolling forecasts, financial modeling, management reporting, and variance analysis.
Working closely with department leaders and senior management, the FP&A Analyst will translate financial and operational data into meaningful insights, identify business trends and risks, and provide recommendations that support financial performance and long-term growth.
Responsibilities

Own the preparation of timely, accurate monthly management reporting packages, including departmental and consolidated financial results. Analyze actuals versus budget, forecast, and prior year; communicate material variances, trends, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership.
Define and monitor financial and operational KPIs; develop standardized dashboards and reporting that can be maintained across entities. Act as the primary FP&A partner for assigned departments, providing financial guidance on spending, resource allocation, cost control, and performance improvement. Lead departmental financial reviews, challenge budget assumptions, and recommend actions to achieve financial targets.
Prepare ROI, pricing, margin, profitability, break-even, and investment analyses to support commercial and strategic decisions. Assess performance by business segment, product, channel, and entity in collaboration with Sales Finance and operational teams. Analyze accounts receivable, inventory, and accounts payable trends; identify working capital improvement opportunities.
Evaluate the cash implications of operating decisions, investments, and growth initiatives. Use ERP and FP&A systems to extract, reconcile, and analyze financial data and improve planning and reporting processes. Develop scalable Excel models, KPI dashboards, and repeatable reporting solutions; identify opportunities for automation and better data visualization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate FP&A, operational finance, or a closely related financial analysis role. Demonstrated ability to independently own budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and cross-functional financial planning deliverables.
Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency building integrated, driver-based three-statement models, cash flow forecasts, and sensitivity analyses. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial statement relationships, variance analysis, and financial and operational KPIs. Ability to translate complex financial information into clear recommendations and confidently present findings to senior leadership.
Preferred Hands-on Net. Suite experience, including financial reporting, saved searches, and extracting and reconciling ERP data.
