Front Desk Receptionist (Checkout + Insurance)

If you’re good with people and careful with details, we’d like to meet you. You’ll be the last person patients see on their way out, and the one who makes sure their insurance is sorted out before they come in. What you’ll do Check patients out: explain what they owe, collect copays and balances, and take payments Verify insurance eligibility and benefits ahead of appointments Keep patient contact and insurance information current in RevolutionEHR Reach out to patients who are due for their exam and get them on the schedule Answer phones and help with check-in and scheduling when the desk is busy Balance the day’s payments at close Keep the front desk and waiting area clean and organized What we’re looking for Friendly, clear communicator who is comfortable talking with patients about what they owe Detail oriented; you catch a wrong insurance ID before it turns into a denied claim Comfortable on a computer and quick to learn new software Insurance verification experience preferred, especially medical insurance Medical, dental, or optical office experience is a plus Reliable and on time High school diploma or equivalent Schedule: Monday through Friday, daytime hours.

No evenings or weekends.
