Senior Bookkeeper - Manufacturing

Impact Fab is hiring a Senior Bookkeeper to lead our financial operations and serve as a trusted partner to the President in supporting a growing custom fabrication business. As our sole accounting professional, you will oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, taking ownership of bookkeeping, payroll and related transactions, general ledger accounts, month-end close activities, and providing accurate job-costing and financial information to support sound business decisions.
Reporting directly to the President, this position requires a high level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion in handling confidential financial and employee information. We're looking for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, adaptable, and highly trustworthy, with a willingness to take initiative and support a variety of responsibilities in a collaborative, family-owned company.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, collections, and inquiries. Reconcile bank, credit card, payroll, general ledger, and balance sheet accounts. Process payroll and all associated transactions, manage general ledger accounts, and lead the month-end close. Maintain accurate job-costing, inventory, Work in Process, fixed-asset, and ERP records.
Partner with operations and purchasing to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Qualifications
5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, including AP, AR, reconciliations, general ledger work, and month-end close. An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is helpful, but relevant experience and demonstrated ability matter more than a specific degree. Strong Excel skills and experience with QuickBooks desktop and ERP systems(JobBOSS² experience a plus) Excellent accuracy, organization, judgment, and follow-through.
Trustworthy and discreet with confidential information. Ability to work independently, meet recurring deadlines, and investigate discrepancies. Experience with job costing, inventory, and WIP is a plus.
