Accountant

About the Role

The Accountant will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the financial records and transactions of the organization to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This position is responsible for preparing detailed financial reports, performing cost accounting analyses, and conducting bank reconciliations to maintain the integrity of financial data.

The Accountant will collaborate with various departments to implement and maintain effective accounting systems that support the organization's financial goals. Job Responsibilities

Maintain and update financial records in accordance with established accounting principles and company policies. Perform cost accounting to analyze production costs and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to verify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and company records.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and optimize accounting systems and processes. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards. Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial transactions.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in cost accounting and bank reconciliation. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial accounting standards. Proficiency in accounting systems and financial software. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional certification. Experience with advanced accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or QuickBooks. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and audit procedures. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
