Responsibilities include

Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with autism and emotional or behavioral needs Implement individualized behavior intervention plans and support strategies outlined in students' IEPs Apply principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to reduce challenging behaviors and reinforce positive replacement behaviors Collect and maintain behavioral data to monitor student progress, targeted behaviors, and individualized goals Utilize positive behavior support, de-escalation techniques, and behavior management strategies Promote a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment Assist students during classroom activities, transitions, and other school settings Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and multidisciplinary school teams Encourage student independence, engagement, and social-emotional development What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in psychology, education, behavioral health, or a related field preferred Previous experience working with individuals with autism or utilizing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies required Experience supporting students with behavioral or emotional needs preferred Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred, but not required Familiarity with behavior intervention plans, data collection, and de-escalation techniques Willingness to work with students across all grade levels (K–12) Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented mindset Benefits Employee (W2) position Sick Time 401(k) Health, dental, and vision insurance options Life insurance Referral bonuses About Nyman Associates Nyman Associates is a trusted educational services provider dedicated to helping students succeed through compassionate, high-quality educational and therapeutic support.
