Job Title: Consultant – ENT Department: ENT Reports To: Head of Department Employment Type: Full-time Location: Mazumdar Shaw Medical Centre Key Responsibilities Conduct outpatient consultations and comprehensive ENT examinations. Diagnose and manage a wide range of ear, nose, throat, head and neck conditions . Develop appropriate treatment plans based on clinical findings and investigations.

Perform ENT procedures and surgeries as per expertise and hospital privileges. Manage common ENT emergencies, including epistaxis, foreign bodies, airway emergencies, and acute infections. Perform and interpret relevant ENT procedures and investigations, as applicable. Provide pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up for surgical patients.

Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, procedures, risks, and expected outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and medical records. Coordinate patient care with other specialties whenever multidisciplinary management is required. Participate in emergency/on-call duties as per the hospital roster.

Ensure adherence to hospital policies, infection-control protocols, clinical guidelines, and patient-safety standards. Participate in clinical audits, quality-improvement initiatives, teaching, and departmental meetings. Maintain professional and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
