Medical Assistant / Substitute

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the District School Nurse, the Medical Assistant will assist in maintaining student medical records, administer medication, provide First Aid to students and staff, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

/ Qualifications Must attach verification of Medical Assistant training and/or certification and current CPR/First Aid card. Include following required documents: Letters of Recommendation Transcripts Verification of degrees / certificates Comments and Other Information *Potential qualified candidates may be required to pass an examination pertaining to the qualification and/or duties of the job prior to offer of employment.

Note: Prior to employment, employee candidates will be required to provide either proof of U.S. citizenship, or other documents that establish the candidate’s eligibility to be employed in the U.S. Fingerprinting will be required.
