Grill Cook Part Time

Summary We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our dynamic team at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality grilled dishes that delight our guests while contributing to a fun and innovative dining atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and kitchen area. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure timely delivery.

Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and popular dishes. Monitor inventory levels of grilling ingredients and communicate needs to management.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Grill Cook or similar role in the food industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Excellent culinary skills with attention to detail in presentation. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
