Position Summary

Functions as the member of the surgical team who assists the surgeon, anesthesiologist/anesthetist and RN in delivering direct patient care during the entire preoperative experience. Acts as the primary scrub person or first assistant during the operative procedure. Position Requirements: Graduate of a program of surgical technology of at least one year duration and possess certification by the Association of Operating Room Technicians.
