As an employee at Romanow Building Services, you will enjoy a positive and stress-free environment. Our company is currently accepting applications for a full-time janitorial position in Port Huron. Positions start at $14/hour.

We need reliable, dependable, and detail-orientated workers. Workers will perform various cleaning duties and maintenance tasks for our customers. Individuals must be physically capable of bending, climbing stairs, reaching, pushing/pulling, lifting, etc.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license Excellent attendance & reliable transportation Pass a background check and reference checking Ability to follow written and verbal instruction Strong communication skills Be positive and enthusiastic Ability to lift 40lbs Ability to stand for long periods. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain a healthy and clean environment using approved methods, chemicals & tools.

Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash Operate floor equipment such as auto floor scrubbers and vacuums General cleaning of floors, furniture, windows, windowsills, and walls Stocking and cleaning of restrooms, break rooms & janitor closets Changing light bulbs General snow removal from entrances as needed Other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor.
